Airbnb stands for “Air Bed and Breakfast.” The idea behind Airbnb is a way for local people to make some extra money renting out their spare home or room to people visiting the area. Airbnb can offer a homey place to stay that has more character, perhaps even with a kitchen to avoid dining out, often at a lower price than what hotels charge.
In the recent past, real estate investors have begun to tap into the enormous opportunities associated with short let/long let apartments. Most people acquire properties in serviced estates especially those living in diaspora with aim of listing same as Airbnb. Either way, the property would serve as a haven for them whenever they are in town and a source of income when they are out of town.
Most investors prefer such arrangement as they could get cash flow all year round rather than wait for a single tenant to pay their annual rent. However like every investment opportunity, there are risks associated with running Airbnb as there may be shortfall of projected income due to poor patronage but the benefits could be rewarding. Here are some of the reasons why you should patronize Airbnb rentals:
Airbnb properties are known to have more space
+ Airbnb properties have kitchens
+ Airbnb amenities are preferred to hotels
+ Airbnb properties are located in neighborhoods
+ Airbnb properties are suitable for large group/families
+ Due to the fact that Airbnb properties have unique designs they usually have more spaces when compared to hotels.
+ Amenities available in Airbnb properties are arguably better than those found in hotels. This is premised on the fact that these facilities are usually designed with owner occupier in mind.
+ Airbnb properties are suitable for large group/ families. It provides that feeling of home away from home. It provides the client with benefits such as multiple bedrooms, kitchen, laundry and recreational facilities. Unlike when one goes to a hotel, they would have to pay for laundry services. The presence of kitchen would greatly reduce eating out for clients.
Furthermore, in a situation whereby one would need more than a single room for instance for a family of four, one could get an Airbnb property for less than what it would cost to get two separate rooms in a hotel. Airbnb properties are in neighbourhood (rather than tourist area where hotels are located) people around are more down-to-earth compared to formal settings observed in hotel. Airbnb properties are suitable for longer stay and most of them come with internet services.
It’s the holiday season, clients can take advantage of a wide range of Airbnb properties listed with credible agents (@whitestonehomesandproperties) in the locality where they want to explore and spend their leisure time.
